Full Agenda Released for Agent Summit 2013

LAS VEGAS — Organizers of the third annual Agent Summit have announced the release of the full agenda.

“This will be our biggest event yet,” said show chair David Gesualdo. “Our advisory board spent several months preparing a terrific agenda. This year’s show was designed by agents, for agents, from beginning to end.”

The 2013 event begins with a pre-conference Participation & Reinsurance Symposium on Monday, March 4 at 1 p.m., and continues with the welcome keynote address, which will be presented by Joel Kansanback of Automotive Development Group.

Luis Garcia of Safe-Guard Products International LLC will serve as this year’s emcee. He will welcome the crowd on Tuesday morning before introducing Protective Asset Protection’s Scott Karchunas, who will deliver the opening keynote address.

The educational slate begins at 10:35 a.m. and continues through Wednesday morning. This year’s agenda was created by a nine-member advisory board led by Randy Crisorio, president and CEO of United Development Systems Inc.

“I guarantee you’ve never seen anything like this, and I believe we’re onto something BIG for years to come,” Crisorio said. “Extreme Agent Benefits will be on display. Thank you to an outstanding Advisory Board.”

Highlights include workshops on such topics as prospecting new dealers and new account acquisition, online marketing, “menu discipline” and the role of agents in dealership compliance strategies. This year’s panel discussions will include a review of agent-focused technology and a debate over which best practices and challenges agents will be focused on in the year ahead.

Comedian and guitar virtuoso Mike Rayburn will serve as this year’s motivational speaker. Rayburn is a member of the CSAE Speakers Hall of Fame and is known for his blend of music, comedy and a unique view of the business world.

David Robertson, founder of the Association of Finance & Insurance Professionals (AFIP) and the Association of Independent General Agents (AiGA), will deliver the closing keynote address. Robertson will wrap up the conference by offering his take on the sessions that precede his remarks and address the trends and regulatory challenges that will shape the dealer/agent/provider relationship in the years ahead.

The third annual Agent Summit is scheduled for March 4–6, 2013, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. For information about exhibition and sponsorship opportunities, contact David Gesualdo via email hidden; JavaScript is required or call (727) 947-4027.

Agent Summit Releases Full Agenda

LAS VEGAS — Organizers of next week’s Agent Summit have released the event’s full agenda. The complete program includes details for each of the three day event’s keynote speeches, panels and workshops.

Among the highlights is “Reinsurance: Painting the Right Picture for Your Dealers,” a workshop that will be presented by a two-man team of Randy Crisorio, a “superagent” and founder of United Development Systems, and reinsurance expert Greg Petrowski, principal of GPW and Associates.

“I am really looking forward to this year’s Agent Summit,” Crisorio said. “Many who did not attend last year have asked me if it was worthwhile, and my answer is always the same: ‘This is the only dedicated agent forum available to us, and the agenda is built to enhance every aspect of our operations.'”

The workshop was designed to help agents sell their dealer clients on true value proposition of a reinsurance program. Crisorio and Petrowski plan to expand upon the basic value proposition with details on managing dealer expectations, painting a realistic picture of how reinsurance works, and deciding whether a particular dealer is a good candidate.

“Partnering with Randy offers the best possible format,” Petrowski said. “I work with the reinsurance providers to set up companies for dealers, and Randy’s perspective is that of the audience. So when I’m talking about potential changes on the tax front, domicile and structure issues, he’ll be asking the right questions to relate it back to the agents in attendance.”

“I am sure that every agent out there would like to become more knowledgeable in this space and sign up more dealers,” Crisorio added. “If you want to grow, you have to go!”

Agent Summit 2012 will commence on Monday, March 12 and conclude on March 14. Registration closes Wednesday, March 7, so visit www.agentsummit.com to secure your pass and peruse the agenda.
