Digital F&I Is on the Agenda for Agent Summit 2019

AutoFi’s Joe St. John will present ‘Digital F&I in the 21st Century’ at Agent Summit in May.

LAS VEGAS — Joe St. John will discuss the ‘pivotal’ role of the agent body in automotive digital retailing at this year’s Agent Summit, organizers announced. The ninth annual event will be held May 19–22, 2019, at the Venetian & Palazzo Resort Hotel Casinos in Las Vegas.

“Margin compression continues to plague dealerships, further cementing F&I income as the cornerstone of profitability,” St. John said. “As shoppers demand a more streamlined and digital experience, dealerships must respond in a way that not only exceeds customers’ expectations but also drives F&I product sales.”

“Agents play a pivotal role in helping dealers to understand this shift and to respond effectively,” he added. I’m incredibly excited to share insights gathered from the front lines of digital retailing, including real case studies from best-in-class dealers that are driving market share and profits. Prepare to walk away with a clear understanding of the digital playing field and what you can do to put your dealers in a position to win.”

St. John is a top-producing F&I manager turned academic, trainer, and now tech executive. He studied at USC, Cambridge, and Oxford and taught at Oklahoma State University, then worked as a training director for IAS before joining AutoFi in its startup phase. He was interviewed for the November/December 2018 issue of Agent Entrepreneur.

“This is arguably the most timely topic of the day, and having Joe St. John deliver with his heavy educational background and industry experience is a load of anticipation for this important ‘don’t-miss’ session on the state of DIGITAL,” said Randy Crisorio, chair of the Agent Summit advisory board and president and CEO of United Development System Inc.
