Randy Crisorio grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and has been active in the automotive industry since 1973. His retail career began with a very large and storied Chevrolet dealership immediately following active duty in the Marine Corps. While rising through the ranks throughout the seventies which included relocating to Clearwater Florida, he was lured away by one of the industry’s most prominent F&I companies. Advancing quickly he soon assumed responsibility for business development for the Eastern US through a staff of regional managers.

In 1982, with a solid foundation and a great attitude, he drew upon all of his business experience and stepped up to form UDS, an F&I Training and Development Company. Now thirty-five years later, UDS has assumed a leadership role in F&I Performance nationally..

Among his professional accomplishments are:

Gina began her career in investment banking at Kidder Peabody, was an analyst at Madison Dearborn Partners and an associate at J.P. Morgan & Co. She was a Vice President at Colonnade Advisors from 1999 to 2003. She left Colonnade to gain operating experience as the Chief Financial Officer of Cobalt Finance, a specialty finance company and Healthcare Laundry Systems, a private-equity backed company for which she oversaw the successful sale to a strategic acquirer. Gina served as the Line of Business CFO – Consumer Banking and Lending at Discover Financial Services. Gina received her BA in Economics and MBA from the University of Chicago. Additionally, Gina holds the Series 24, 28, 79 and 99 securities licenses.

Tony is a Director of Training at the Automotive Development Group.  Throughout his thirteen-year automotive retail career he held multiple leadership positions, including a GM of a large import dealership.  Since joining ADG in 2011, Tony has been working with dealerships and OEMs helping them improve processes and customer experience.  He designed and developed ADG’s Proactive Selling System® on-demand learning platform.  Along with hundreds of dealerships his clients include Hyundai, Lexus, GP Strategies and J.D. Power.  Tony has delivered over 600 presentations totaling over 2,500 hours of platform time.  

He is a two times presenter at NADA, speaker at CBT Conference, Innovative Dealer Summit and Digital Dealer Conference.  He is a frequent contributor to Auto Dealer Today magazine and has appeared on CBT’s F&I Today show.  His international work includes speaking and training in Korea, Portugal and UAE.   Tony is a Certified Coaching Practitioner with Certified Coaching Federation and is a Certified Speaking Professional™ with National Speakers Association.

Andrew Weill is a principal in the San Francisco law firm Weill & Mazer, which focuses on complex commercial, estate and tax litigation. He is a Certified Tax Law Specialist and a leading authority on litigation and tax controversies involving structures taxed as insurance and reinsurance, including tax audits and other compliance issues. He was the counsel for the taxpayers that resulted in the issuance of the published rulings validating reinsurance structures for auto dealers and the revocation of IRS Notice 2002-70.

Mr. Weill is the current President of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Dealer Counsel and the past President of the San Francisco Tax Club. His clients include car dealers and dealerships, domestic and foreign companies, and individuals and entities involved in aftermarket financial products for the automotive and other industries. He is a regular presenter at the annual Risk Transfer and Taxation Conference and has made presentations for AICPA, CCIA and numerous other organizations.

Bill joined SouthwestRe in 2013, bringing more than 30 years’ experience in financial management to the company. He started his career in public accounting, and has held executive level positions in insurance, coal mining and transportation industries. In the mid-1980s, Bill began managing producer owned reinsurance companies and has continually expanded his knowledge of the financial and contractual aspects of these companies. He has spent over 25 years in the insurance industry, specifically in automotive F&I services organizations. A native of Scotch Plains, New Jersey, Bill has a BS in accounting from Fairleigh Dickenson University. He and his wife Jeannie have been married for 26 years. In his spare time, he enjoys bicycling, skiing and traveling.

Brian Feldman is Executive Vice President of Spencer Re, the first international reinsurance company formed in Puerto Rico. Brian has over 20 years of experience working in the F&I space. A love for automobiles drove him to begin his career at an auto dealership. In 1995 he joined Motors Insurance/GMAC Insurance as a mechanical claim adjuster for the General Motors service contact program. During his tenure at GMAC Insurance, he held several roles related to the F&I product lifecycle including claim management, product and program development, loss analysis, reinsurance and sales.

In 2009, he left GMAC Insurance and joined Allstate Dealer Services (“ADS”) as a Marketing Manager for reinsurance programs. Prior to joining ADS, he held the roles of Reinsurance Specialist at GMAC Insurance and Vice President/Chief Compliance Officer for GMAC Securities, a broker/dealer that was used to facilitate offshore reinsurance offerings

Prior to joining Spencer Re, Brian held the role of National Sales Leader responsible for ADS’s strategic and affinity F&I relationships which included automotive manufactures and their finance captives, large dealer groups and affinity relationships. While at ADS, he also led the team that successfully developed new F&I products that launched Allstate into the ancillary F&I marketplace and diversified Allstate’s F&I product portfolio.

Brian also was an Intelligence Analyst with the 12th Special Forces Group and holds a BS and MS from NLU in Evanston, IL.

Previous positions held by Mr. Stricklin include Controller, Vice President of Finance, and Vice President of Product Development and Risk. Mr. Stricklin serves on the Board of Directors for both domestic and foreign domiciled insurance companies. Currently, he serves as Vice President of Operations and IT for the GSFSGroup of companies.

Mr. Stricklin earned his MBA from University of Houston in 1996 and has been a CPA for over 30 years.

David Kaseff is a Certified Public Accountant and an attorney at the MarksNelson accounting firm in Kansas City, Missouri, where he leads the insurance industry practice area.

As a CPA and attorney, David brings both accounting and legal experience to the areas of taxation, producer-owned insurance, captive insurance and alternative risk financing. He has worked with Fortune 500 and large privately held companies. He has been engaged by clients such as Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Assurant, Apple Computers, Raytheon, DST Systems, Sprint, Janus Corp., American Century Investments and Zurich to provide advice and services with regard to service contract and risk management issues. He also provides accounting, tax and audit services to both small and large automobile dealer groups.

Prior to joining MarksNelson in 2002, David worked as an insurance specialist and tax manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he helped to begin a national captive insurance team. As part of the national team, he assisted other members in dealing with technical tax, business and implementation issues that arise during the establishment of a captive insurance company. He continues to utilize his expertise at MarksNelson specializing in corporate, partnership, insurance, re-insurance, and mergers and acquisitions. He currently provides accounting and tax services to various insurance companies as well as CFCs, NCFCs, and traditional insurance carriers.

David is listed in Who’s Who in Tax and received the Bingham Sommers Award for Overall Excellence in Taxation. He has been quoted in several industry publications including Automotive News and Used Car Dealer Magazine. He is the past Chair of the Heart of America Tax Institute.

Dylan Doran’s career began in the automotive industry in 1994 and since then he has worked in various roles in retail, holding positions from sales person to general manager.

In 2001 Dylan joined Jim Moran & Associates where he held every position in sales and sales management. Starting in the F&I training role, he traveled the United States training and developing hundreds of F&I managers. He was quickly promoted to District Manager where he was charged with the development of F&I operations in the Pacific Northwest. He was later promoted into management and ultimately Senior Management where he was responsible for dealer income development across five states.

In 2009 Dylan was appointed Vice President of Protective Life’s Asset Protection Division where he was responsible for business in 18 states and was involved with many of the nation’s largest mega-dealers. Dylan has vast knowledge of both retail operations and dealer reinsurance management. In early 2014 Dylan founded Western Fidelity Insured Services, Inc. based out of Bellevue, Washington.

WFIS, Inc. is a results-driven company committed to increasing dealers’ bottom-line profit and wealth management with emphasis on best in class products, continued hands-on training and maximized sales.

With 20 years of varied experience in the automotive industry, Jay Sharpnack has been with CNA National since 2010. Previous positions with other national F&I providers include director of agency development, division vice president and regional sales manager.

Jay also has worked in retail auto sales as general manager at a family-owned Chevrolet dealership. Jay has earned an MBA degree, a BS in business administration, property-casualty licenses and senior AFIP certification.

John Kerper

John Kerper and Lee Bowron are co-owners of the actuarial consulting firm Kerper and Bowron, LLC. They have been business partners since 2003. Kerper and Bowron focus on providing actuarial services to captives and to companies which insure, administer or sell vehicle service contracts and related F&I products, including GAP, Tire and Wheel, and other ancillary products.

In late 2013 they acquired J Huell Briscoe and Associates – a management and accounting firm specializing in providing services to small P&C companies and reinsurance companies owned by auto dealers. John has served as President of J Huell Briscoe and Associates since April 2015.

John is considered an industry expert in the field of vehicle service contracts and has written several papers on the analysis of extended warranty and GAP liabilities. He is also a frequent speaker at seminars on these topics.

John has been a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries since 1987.

John is senior vice president, sales and marketing for First Extended Service Corporation, responsible for all sales and marketing activities within First Extended’s US agent distribution segment.

He began his career in the retail automotive business holding various sales and service positions. He joined the company as a regional sales manager, later holding the positions of national sales manager, divisional vice president, and agent distribution vice president.

He has been the recipient of numerous sales awards, including the Resource Automotive Regional Vice President of the Year award and The Warranty Group’s Global Salesperson of the Year award. He has a BA in economics and business administration from Eastern Illinois University.

Joshua Sonnier leads the development initiatives for AFAS, where he is focused on delivering high quality products and services for today’s connected dealers. He also is head of the company’s compliance efforts, which is tasked with maintaining a sharp focus on compliance with partnered dealers and vendors.

Previously, Joshua served the company as manager for all product lines. In this role, Joshua was responsible for the performance of the product programs and business designs for dealers and consumers.

Before joining American Financial & Automotive Services, Inc., Joshua spent 7 years in service and management positions within various organizations in the banking industry. Joshua’s career with American Financial & Automotive Services, Inc. began in 2007 when he joined the company as a financial marketing analyst.

In 2014, Joshua was part of the NAF Consumer Credit Compliance Certification’s inaugural class and works with several state dealer associations in regards to F&I product legislation. Joshua is also a graduate from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, holds numerous professional licenses / certifications, and resides in The Woodlands, Texas with his family.

With 15 years of reinsurance experience, Matt Gibson works with Protective’s clients to simplify and summarize all aspects of Protective’s participation programs, and his impact has led to numerous new sales opportunities for the organization. Matt is passionate about ensuring clients are educated and placed in the best option for them based upon their needs.

Matt has a B.A. from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. Outside of work, he enjoys being a professional chauffeur for his children and attending their numerous activities throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Michelle earned her MBA from Pepperdine University and her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of California, San Diego. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two wonderful children who believe that CMO stands for Chief Mommy Officer.

Phil has over 30 years of automotive experience and has owned several dealerships throughout the US and he is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Superior Integrated Solutions servicing over 12687 dealerships throughout the US , Canada and Puerto Rico. Phil also serves as Chief Executive Officer Darwin Automotive which created the industries first predictive analytic selling system for finance and insurance. Phil has served as CO-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at MenuVantage LLC , which under his guidance grew to over 4000 customers in the US. Phil has experienced success as a Dealer as well as an automotive software professional with truly innovative products. Phil formed Superior Programming in 1993 which was a custom programming company focused on Dealer Management Systems, where he developed the industry’s leading interface technology. Mr. Battista served as Chief Operating Officer of LeaseLink until 2004.

Ms. Pinkerton is the Compliance Director for The Tribal Domicile enforcing and administering the provisions of the Delaware Tribe of Indians Business Corporation Act and Insurance Act. The Tribal Domicile of the Delaware Tribe of Indians is a specialized insurance domicile targeting the insurance-reinsurance-obligor facilities needed by vehicle dealerships and other specialized producers.

Ms. Pinkerton is co-owner of PH Re, a consulting firm specializing in product design; pricing and reserving; risk management; and risk transfer solutions for debt-related protection products.

Ms. Pinkerton was CREDITRE’s primary consultant on wireless equipment insurance, vehicle protection products and risk management. She presented each year at CREDITRE’s Debt Protection Products Conference and its F&I Office Protection Products Conference.

Ms. Pinkerton joined CREDITRE as an actuarial analyst in February 2001, having worked in the credit-related insurance industry with Associates Insurance Group as an actuarial analyst and with Zale Insurance Group as a financial/business analyst. Prior to working in the credit-related insurance industry, she worked for 16 years in various capacities involving ordinary life, annuities, major medical, self-insured plans, and long term care.

Rick Meinke has over 35 years of experience in the automotive industry. Rick began his career selling cars and quickly advanced to becoming an Area Manager for an industry leading insurance company, who specialized in training and income development. He then moved onto co-founding his own company, Automobile Dealer Services, Inc. which was the only company that specialized in sales training with a focus on protective coatings, where he helped grow the Company to over 357 Dealer accounts in nine States. After selling his company, Rick went back into retail to increase his knowledge and ran multiple Honda, Toyota and Hyundai franchises.

Eight years ago, Rick joined ECP, Incorporated and is now their National Sales Manager. ECP Incorporated has served automobile dealers since 1969. ECP offers a diversified line of products and programs which include: Appearance Protection/Protective Coatings and Ancillary Products for new, pre-driven and leased vehicles.

Rick Roesel has been involved in the Finance and Insurance products field for over 30 years. After graduating from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.A. in Mass Communication, he began his career in the auto business selling and working his way into finance.

Roesel’s career in the F&I products world began in 1984, working for Progressive Life’s credit insurance department. He was then recruited by a local agency, where he worked for 6 years.

From 1990-92 Roesel was employed by Balboa Insurance as a Resident VP for Ohio and Michigan. In early 1992 he started with Agency Services and has been there ever since.

Over the last 24 years, Agency Services has grown to become a major provider of F&I products and training in the Ohio and Kentucky markets.

In 2013 Rick sold his agency to Brown and Brown, the 6th largest insurance brokerage in the nation, and is Director of Operations for all F&I products.

A lifelong resident of the area, Rick lives in Northern Cincinnati.

Zack is Vice President, Corporate Strategy at National Auto Care where he works cross-functionally as a strategic advisor to the executive suite while managing industry partnerships, unique sales initiatives, and underwriter relationships. Zack is a student of the industry, focusing on the “Why?” and actively monitoring automotive industry trends in relation to finance and insurance, reinsurance and profit-sharing programs, competitive intelligence, strategy, and M&A activity.

Prior to National Auto Care, Zack held various positions in the F&I industry as a Product Manager for Allstate Dealer Services and Director of Business Development for Family First Dealer Services.

Zack graduated from Tulane University with degrees in Strategy and Entrepreneurship and Consumer Behavior and Marketing.
