Welcome to Agent Summit IX

Advisory board chair, Randy Crisorio, offers a sneak peek at what attendees can expect at Agent Summit 2019.

Hello — Randy Crisorio here to announce and welcome you to Agent Summit IX, and in a sign of the times and activity, is now themed Agent Domination!

Yes — conversion to agent programs is in motion at high speed and for good reason.

We have assembled an awesome advisory board and they are busy assembling what will be an awesome display of horsepower. They are: Texas agent, Adam Barocio; Thomas Hackett – Allstate Dealer Services, Florida; David Neuenschwander – National Automotive Experts, Ohio; Minnesota agent, Chris Stout; Colorado agent, Glen Tuscan and Tony Wanderon – National Auto Care, Ohio.

While they are at work weighing the value of program inclusion and selecting just the right hot topics, let me give you a peek under the hood. This years’ Agent Principals Only session will conclude prior to the start of the general session, followed by the ever-popular reinsurance symposium. Look for the automotive dynamo, Dave Anderson, to light up the launchpad and get the juices flowing.

The Agent Principals Only session will feature a return of Bartle & Marcus on the important topic of protecting the agents’ intellectual property, including systems and methods, sales material and customer lists. I am pleased to tell you that Paul Metrey, NADA’s VP of regulatory affairs, will present a program titled “Voluntary Protection Products” which as of this date is under wraps but drafted to counter act efforts ongoing behind the scenes which would negatively impact your business.

We will most certainly address an active M&A scene and other important industry trends. The daily changing landscape of digital technology will bring you up to date, but there is so much more. It’s easier to present the questions yet to be answered such as:

  • What’s up with GAP loss trends?
  • What do dealers value today?
  • Is there a model for recruiting talent?
  • Any new ancillary products on the horizon?
  • What’s up with dealer owned programs?

Honestly, there is so much going on that I cannot do it justice within this short video so I can only tell you to mark your calendar in permanent ink!
